Something is Wrong.

Girls.  Something is wrong.  Terribly wrong.  I have had Thomas Hardy's Under the Greenwood Tree on my bedside table, in my purse, in the kitchen, basically anywhere I might be tempted to pick it up and indulge in the charming story of schoolmistress Fancy Day and penniless violinist, Dick Dewy.  The Shakespearean references, the charm of Wessex, the allure of the pastoral novella.  I should have read it weeks ago.

And yet.

I can't.

Instead I can't stop (won't stop) reading...

The Outlander series.

 Help!

    Thomas Hardy: Tears...

    I feel like this might be why.
