Life Update: since we got engaged, my fiance has gone a little crazy with trying to eat healthier. Which is good, and something I was trying to do before we even got engaged, but now with all the things going on, I feel like I can't even keep up. Actually eating healthy means food prep, going to the grocery store >_<, and bringing lunch to work. I'm glad he likes to cook though. Last night I had an eye appointment, had been at one of our remote offices for the day, and had no idea what to make. He decided on dinner then cooked it & everything. We had Chicken Fajita Casserole and we'll probably have it for dinner again tonight. I'd make it again!
I'm looking forward to the weekend. I'm hosting a costume party for Halloween - I've already put up some decorations & may post them here when it's a bit more finalized. Fiance is supplying Black Lights & a Strobe + Home brew. Sunday will be spend Gardening and doing homework. My landlord gave me permission to use a plot in the back for tulips & I need to prep the flower bed. It's all covered in Lava Rocks & plastic right now. I also have a small plot in a community garden that needs to be tended. There's a tomato plant that needs to be ripped up and I should add some compost. I'm planning on doing some over-winter Rye in the space to improve the nitrogen.
Wedding Update: I tried on wedding dresses this last weekend with my mom, soon to be MIL, two sisters, and best friend. I have another wedding dress try-on appointment next week at another store.I know my sisters loved the dresses I tried on, but I'm still not 100%. We've been interviewing photographers and I think we've narrowed it down, and I just reached out to a hotel for a room block. I'm still mulling over colors, but I think I've settled on Burgundy/Black/Green as a color palate, maybe throw some Lavender in there.
